The playoff format will change starting this season. A majority of teams in a division will make the playoffs if not all. That will depend on the size of the division. It will be the top four teams making the playoffs unless the division is large. In that case, it may be top six or eight. Also, the first tie-breaker will be least amount of forfeits given. The remainder of the tie-breaker format will fall as normal. T'he combination of both of these changes should result in fewer forfeits.
